MASQUEΡΙΝΗ Street Party 2024

Preparations are in full swing. On the pedestrian streets of Georgaki Olympiou, Solomou and Agias Lavras, the owners of catering and entertainment businesses, with the support of the Municipality of Katerini, are organizing a fantastic carnival party, the MASQUERINI Street Party 2024.

An initiative of the President of the Katerini Catering Association, Mr. Vasilis Agiagnis, who has stated in the past in articles, statements and to city officials that our Katerini needs a new trend in events, in order to entertain and amuse its citizens.

This year's theme is Ancient Greece and Mythology. Common costumes, common decoration, unified music by the city's DJs, free confetti cannons, streamers, whistles, masks and other gifts, as well as the presence of stilt walkers, with lots of dancing, fun and carnival spirit are some of what we will experience!

Endorphins and dopamine, the hormones of joy and pleasant mood, are affected both by the process of decoration and by the enjoyment of the result.

The central decoration of the shops and the streets where the event will take place will aim to create a small carnival village in the center of the city.
