The Pieria Tourism Development Organization (POTAP) invites you to celebrate spring at the Cherry Blossoms of Pieria 2025, a vibrant two-day festival combining nature, tradition, and local gastronomy!

April 5-6, 2025

• Kolindros, Pieria
• Rachi, Pieria

Supported by the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and sponsored by DIOS Natural Mineral Water, this unique agrotourism event highlights Pieria’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.

🌸 Highlights of the Festival:

Kolindros – April 5, 2025

• Welcome ceremony in the cherry orchards
• Hot air balloon rides over the orchards
• Guided tours by local farmers and agronomists
• Presentation on traditional cherry varieties by ELGO “DIMITRA” researcher Konstantinos Kazantzis
• Photography workshop: Macro Flower Photography
• Interactive traditional games for kids and adults
• Live cooking show: Cherry-based recipes with Chef Dimitris Dermisis
• Music, dance & theatrical performances
• Theater: “SAKURA – The Myth of the Blooming Cherry Tree”
• Educational science workshops by LOGIC Museum
• Charity cycling event through the orchards

Rachi – April 6, 2025

• Welcome in the cherry orchards
• Creative workshops, pantomime, and painting activities for kids
• Cooking show: Cherry-based recipes with Chef Dimitris Dermisis
• Theater: “SAKURA – The Myth of the Blooming Cherry Tree”
• Traditional dance performances
• Music concert: “Flowers & Flavors” with Dimitris Yfantis
• Nature fitness sessions, eco-tours & photography workshops
• Walking & cycling tours in the orchards
• Local cherry-based treats offered throughout the festival
